Trevor Hook is a content producer for “Wisconsin Today” on Wisconsin Public Radio. He creates broadcast and digital content on breaking and long-standing issues relevant to folks throughout Wisconsin. Trevor was a producer for "The Morning Show" from mid-2021 to early 2024.
Before joining WPR in 2021, Trevor was a “jack-of-all-trades” with KBIA-FM, Mid-Missouri’s NPR member station. He served in various capacities as a reporter, newscaster, and project lead with the station, as well as being lead producer of multiple long-form programs like the weekly call-in show “The Check-In” and the international affairs program “Global Journalist.”
He has received awards for his reporting and production from the Public Media Journalism Association, the Missouri Press Association and the Radio Television Digital News Association.
Trevor specializes in pitching, reporting and producing both short and long-form stories written for the ear. Whether he's on assignment or preparing hosts for tough interviews, he aims to ask insightful questions and foster nuanced conversation.
